The Dowry Team arriving between 2:00pm – 2:30pm. The Cathedral will remain open. No afternoon confessions or Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Thursday

  • 4.00 pm Dowry Tour Exhibition Opens
  • 4.30 pm Reception of Our Lady of Walsingham with Solemn Vespers (of BVM) and Crowning of Our Lady of Walsingham

    Celebrant: Bishop Marcus Stock. Homily: Provost John Aveyard.

  • 5.30 pm Solemn Mass of Our Lady of Walsingham

    Celebrant: Provost Fr John Aveyard. Homily: Mgr John Armitage.

  • 6.30 pm Rosary of Intercession for the Conversion of England
  • 7.15 pm Talk on the Dowry of Mary by Mgr John Armitage
  • 8.00 pm Sung Litany of the English Saints and Martyrs
  • 8.15 pm Finish

Friday

  • 7.30 am Srine and Exhibition opens
  • 8.00 am Holy Mass of Our Lady

    3.00 pm: Chaplet of Divine Mercy followed by led Adoration interspersed with prayer, silence and song

    4.15pm: Time of Silent Adoration
    4.45pm: Simple Benediction

  • 8.00 pm Night Prayer concluding with Solemn Benediction and the Litany of Our Lady with procession to the Holy House

  • 8.30 am Rosary of Intercession with Litany of the English Saints and Martyrs
  • 9.15 am Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with Morning Prayer
  • 10.30 am – 11.45am Sacrament of Reconciliation
  • 10.30 am Solemn Benediction
  • 11.00 am Talk on the Dowry of Mary by Mgr John Armitage
  • 11.55 am Angelus
  • Noon Solemn Mass of Our Lady of Walsingham with the Marian Act of Consecration
